4 months

Can it truly be?? Tanner is four months!!! Wow! Where does the time go??

Tanner had his four-month appointment yesterday and here are the stats:

Weight: 17 lbs 7 ounces (90%) (Teeghun was 18 lbs 4 ounces)
Height: 26 inches (75%) (Teeghun was 26 inches)
Head size: 17 inches (90%) (Teeghun's head was 16 1/2 inches)

Here is a picture that I took with my cell phone while we were doing tubby time, he sure didn't look like he was upset about the four shots, but shortly after that he started wailing!! Poor little guy!!!

Big Boy Potty

Someday I am sure that Teeghun will not be happy about this post but this picture just cracks me up!!! This is how Teeghun insists on going potty!!! How do we teach him that this isn't normal :) For now we will let it go...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

In all the craziness of the last week I didn't get a post out to all the men in my life who are Daddy's, Father's, Dadda's....

Especially to the really special man in my life who is Dadda to our boys! Steve is an incredible daddy to Teeghun and Tanner; they both adore in and I am pretty sure the feeling is mutual!!!

Happy Father's Day honey, you are an incredible daddy!!!!

Deja Vu'

Didn't we just do this? Weren't we just gathering five weeks ago to plan the funeral of my Mother-in-Law and yet on Thursday we found ourselves at the same crossroad yet again planning the funeral for Ray my Father-in-Law. How can this be, the grass hasn't even covered Jean's grave yet and on Saturday we will go back to the same place to say goodbye to Ray. As much as we all missed Jean I guess that Ray missed her even more. Tuesday evening he suffered a heart attack and never regained consciousness. Wednesday morning at 8:36 he was worshipping his Lord and Saviour and was reunited with Jean.

We buried Jean on Mother's Day weekend and will say goodbye to Ray on Father's Day weekend. We serve a mighty Saviour and this is just another incredible example of his awesome power, it is all part of his plan and while we might not understand why we know where to go to find our comfort.
