Updates...Updates...Updates...

Tanner is 7 months old! Where does the time go?? It seems like just yesterday that I was holding him for the first time!! He has two teeth, sits up really well and laughes a lot!! He loves his big brother dearly and I am pretty sure the feeling is mutual (well if mommy has him, not so much if daddy has him!)

PRESCHOOL??? Yeah Preschool!! Teeghun started preschool yesterday! Again, where the heck does time go? Seriously I cannot believe that Teeghun is in preschool already! He is loving it, absolutely loving it! There are only 7 kids in the room at any given time so the kids get lots of attention and they are learning a lot! Each month they focus on 3-4 letters, 3-4 shapes and also something biblical. This month they are learning the Lord's Prayer! Oh and they are teaching him Spanish! I told the teacher to stop that, we don't know Spanish and I won't know what he is saying!

Teeghun's first day of preschool

Speaking of preschool, I cried like a baby Teeghun's last day being in the Toddler room! We have really bonded with the teachers in the toddler room and I couldn't imagine them not being with Teeghun everyday! They are incredibly wonderful women and we were so very blessed to have had them be a part of Teeghun's life since last May!!

Tubby Time

Tanner is sitting up enough that we are now putting he and Teeghun in the tubby together some evenings, SUPERVISED MIND YOU!!! They have a lot of fun and Tanner is now using Teeghun's old tub seat so that he is secure (and safe from big brother) but can still sit up and play. Here are a couple pics from a recent tubby time.

Bad Hair Day

Sunday Steve was hiding in the closet (a new game he and Teeghun often play), when Teeghun "found" him he was wearing this wig and scared Teeghun so badly that he started to cry! Teeghun then decided that the wig was a lot of fun and he wore it to Memaw & Baby Papa's house on Sunday evening to "scare" everyone with it....I don't think that Tanner was as equally amused with the whole deal.

Professional Pictures (better late than never!)

I haven't uploaded any of the boys pictures taken recently so here is a video show of pictures professionally taken since June.

I had pictures taken of the boys in their Steeler's jerseys for Steve for Father's Day. I think that they turned out really cute.

In July we had Tanner's pictures taken in the same Phillies outfit that we had Teeghun's pictures taken in. The photographer liked the picture of him laying on his tummy with the baseball so much that she asked us to sign a modeling release so that the picture could be used both on the local and national level. What a cutie!!!

I finally got around to getting Tanner's 6 month pictures taken and we included Teeghun in them since we never took 2 year pictures of him. Poor kid! We totally skipped his two-year pictures!!

September 7th we met Andy, Trisha and Ellee to have family pictures taken for mom's birthday. We had a lot of fun and mom loved the pictures!!!

Enjoy the slide show!!

Tanner & Ellee

Recently we had a get together for Labor Day, we put Tanner and Ellee on the couch together and they were sooo funny! At one point Tanner was trying to suck on Ellee's toes!! We were laughing until we were crying!

I am sooo excited that Teeghun, Tanner and Ellee will grow up living close!! What a lot of great memories they will make!!

Pics

Here are some pictures of us after Alex & Audrey's wedding...
We also had some professional pictures done of Teeghun & Tanner in these shirts I will get them posted soon (I PROMISE!!)

WE ARE LAND OWNERS!!!

August 24th we purchased two acres of land from my grandparents. We are hoping to build next to Mom and Wayne in the near future. I am sooo excited about this as I have always dreamed that my kids would grow up next to Memaw, Baby Papa just like I grew up next to Grandpa & Grandma Gordon. I haven't ever (until I got married) lived more than 5 minutes from my grandparents and cannot wait to move back there. We are currently in the "planning process" of choosing house plans, getting the land surveyed and all the other "fun" stuff that goes with this process...WHEW! It is a whole lot of emotional ups and downs but it will all be worth it! For our anniversary we bought an above ground pool, mom laughed and said that we were the first people she knew that bought a pool before we even had somewhere to put it!! We now own an above ground pool and two acres of land....

Here are some pictures of Steve and Grandpa walking OUR PROPERTY on September 1st. Steve's thoughts on the land after walking it "That is a lot of freaking yard to mow!" HA!!

In this picture you can see in the distance the house where I grew up, my Uncle and Aunt now live there.

Tanner 6 month appointment

Tanner had his 6-month appointment August 25th...he is growing quite well as his stats will show :)

He weighed 20 pounds 12 ounces (94%) (Teeghun was 21 pounds 10 ounces), he is 28 3/4 inches long (above 95%)(Teeghun was 27 inches), his head is 18 inches around (94%) (Teeghun's head was 17 3/4 inches around)....

We are still to do the Xopenex breathing treatments twice a day indefinitely. We will continue to monitor his chest rattles and see if they get any better or worse. We can discontinue the Pulmicort since it seems to not make much difference.

His ears still haven't cleared up so we are seeing Dr. Reddy (the Dr. who did Teeghun's tubes in his ears) on October 2nd to be evaluated for tubes in Tanner's ears.

We talked about his clogged tear duct and we are still just in the wait & see time frame on that. He said that most kids outgrow a clogged tear duct by the time that they are 9-12 months so we will how it is looking at his next appointment.

UPDATES!!!

Somehow in the course of our crazy life I lost an ENTIRE month :) I mean where did August go?? Sorry to my faithful three or four readers (at least I hope there are still 3 or 4 of you that read this) that I have been MIA for almost a month.... Just a warning this will be photo overload to catch up the last month :) So hang on...here we gooooooo!

August 14 & 15 we spent MUCH needed time with the boys. We went to the Indianapolis Zoo and then to the State Fair...Enjoy this slide show of pics from the Zoo...

Just a few pics from the State Fair

Teeghun has been learning his ABC's, as well as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Baa Baa Black Sheep...Here is a video of him singing(well kind of). There are two videos in this clip, the first is Aug 14th after we had been at the Indy Zoo all day...he was slightly wound up and then I videoed him again on Aug 29th and he was much more calm :) HA!!

Now some pics of Teeghun & Tanner

Here is a comparision pic of Teeghun & Tanner, they still look alike but it is easier to tell them apart now.
