Today was Tanner's turn and boy was he ever excited!!!!! He couldn't wait to go to school!! He carried his own backpack and barely gave me a kiss when we got to the door!
The big day has arrived!! The Chapel opened "The Chapel Christian Preschool this fall and we were so pleased! The kids can come to preschool where I work! We are so blessed to have this opportunity!! Teeghun was very excited to be coming to preschool! Tanner was very upset that he didn't get to come along!
Like I mentioned in the last post, Tanner got sick with the flu. We were all dressed and ready to go to the zoo, Steve had just strapped Tanner into his carseat when the projectile vomiting started! We were so disappointed but I told Steve to take Teeghun and head to the zoo. I stayed home on barf duty! It was sort of ok because there was a lot of snuggling involved!!!
It was good for Teeghun and Steve to have some one-on-one time together and from the looks of it they had a great time!!! Teeghun even choose a penguin stuffed animal for Tanner to help him feel better!! Such a caring big brother!!!
Teeghun and Tanner both tried fishing at the Indiana State Fair last year and they loved it!!! When Tanner got sick with the flu, I took Teeghun to go fishing at Grandpa and Grandma Bills pond. He loved it and had good luck!! He even snagged a rock!!! Grandma and Grandpa also have chickens and Teeghun had a great time rodeoing the chickens!!
There is a wonderful park in Columbia City that the boys sometimes walk to with Miss Pam. We took them there and they had a great time! Tanner is getting big enough that he can enough it also.
Teeghun learned to ride his bike without the training wheels. Shortly after the end of this video the training wheels were put back on, he hadn't mastered the stopping part yet!!
I cannot believe that I am trying to go back and keep this up to date, but Steve encouraged me to do this because he said it is a neat way for the boys to see what was going on in their lives.
August brought about more swimming and my favorite time, the Indiana State Fair!!!
We spent time with Sally & Terry on the lake and the boys both got to drive the boat! Look out!!!
Next came fun at the State Fair, it was HOT (isn't is always) but we still had a lot of fun! The boys each got to try fishing and Teeghun caught a fish! This began a love for fishing at Grandpa and Grandma's pond. We always try to go on Purdue Day if we can and they got to stand beside the Boilermaker Special and get their picture taken.
Here are a couple pictures of Teeghun and Tanner fishing at Grandpa and Grandma's pond, they always let them go but first we tried to get pictures.
We ended the month of August celebrating Morgan's birthday at Crazy Pinz, as you can see from the score I didn't bowl too well!!!
I am happily married to a wonderful Godly man who is sooo awesome!! God has blessed us with two sons who are the joy's of our lives; Teeghun and Tanner.
